Beryllium’s Cuick Trac Platform Selected to Support U.S. Army NCODE Initiative

Beryllium has been selected to participate in the U.S. Army’s Next-Gen Commercial Operations in Defended Enclaves (NCODE) pilot program, a $49 million initiative designed to strengthen cybersecurity across the Defense Industrial Base (DIB).

Through the NCODE program, selected Verified External Service Providers (VESPs) will compete for task orders supporting eligible defense contractors as they implement National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) SP 800-171 requirements and prepare for Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) compliance.

Beryllium will support the initiative through our flagship managed enclave platform, Cuick Trac, designed specifically to help defense contractors isolate and secure Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) within a dedicated compliance boundary without disrupting existing operations. Beryllium’s official announcement regarding participation in the NCODE pilot program can be read here.

Why the NCODE Initiative Matters

The NCODE pilot program was created to help organizations across the defense supply chain gain access to secure cybersecurity environments and compliance resources that may otherwise be difficult to implement independently.

As CMMC requirements continue moving into defense contracts, organizations across the DIB are looking for more practical and scalable approaches to protecting CUI while minimizing operational disruption. The NCODE initiative reflects a broader shift toward enclave-based cybersecurity models designed to simplify compliance and accelerate readiness.

The Army selected a small group of providers to participate in the initiative, reinforcing the growing demand for managed compliance environments capable of supporting organizations throughout the defense supply chain.

How Cuick Trac Supports Defense Contractors

Cuick Trac enables organizations to isolate and secure CUI within a controlled enclave environment while maintaining existing business workflows.

Unlike approaches that require full system migrations or significant re-architecture, Cuick Trac allows organizations to establish a dedicated compliance boundary around sensitive data and systems, all within a FedRAMP Moderate Equivalent platform.

Designed specifically for defense contractors, Cuick Trac helps organizations accelerate their path toward CMMC and NIST SP 800-171 compliance through a fully managed and operationalized approach to cybersecurity and compliance management.

The Growing Shift Toward Enclave-Based Compliance

Organizations across the Defense Industrial Base are facing increasing pressure to meet cybersecurity requirements while continuing to support critical national security missions.

For many contractors, enclave-based approaches are becoming one of the most practical ways to secure CUI without overhauling their entire IT environment.

“Organizations across the Defense Industrial Base are being asked to meet increasingly complex cybersecurity requirements while continuing to support critical national security missions,” said Andy Woods, Chief Executive Officer of Beryllium. “Programs like NCODE validate a broader shift toward enclave-based environments as one of the most practical paths to achieving compliance at scale. We’re proud to be selected and to support an initiative focused on helping organizations protect sensitive information while remaining competitive within the DIB.”
